Connecting To My Past

My parents have lived in the same home since I was less than a year old and still do. It is nice to have a place that you can call home and visit at any time. I am fortunate to have this and I try not to take it for granted, but there is a side effect that comes with having a family home in one place for so long. Imagine that junk drawer you seem to magically accumulate odds and ends within, that was the garage and shed at my parent’s home.
